Our take
Buy it if your work is visual and you want a portfolio that reads as an experience rather than a list — designers, developers and small studios with a handful of projects to show. The desktop metaphor carries through the whole site: icons act as navigation, the dock launches pages, and the music widget is a real draw. The trade-off is commitment. Long case studies and text-heavy projects will fight the format, and the interactions need a clear mobile answer before you ship.
What you get
- Desktop home screen with labeled project icons
- Bottom dock for quick-launch navigation
- Music widget styled as a classic iPod
- Menu bar showing owner name and live date
- About Me and Resources icons for secondary pages
