Our take

Buy it if you set headlines, covers or wordmarks and want one serif that ranges from light and airy to heavy and advertising-loud without swapping files. The matching italic is the standout: most variable serifs treat italics as an afterthought, and here each weight has one drawn to fit. The trade-off is temperament — a high-contrast, display-leaning serif gets awkward at small body sizes, and the axes stop at weight and italic, with no optical size or width.
